Junior Club
This summer due to excessive demand we will again be running two separate junior clubs. One will run on Tuesday evenings and the other on Thursday evenings. The format for each club will be identical. Your membership will enable you to belong to one or the other but not both i.e. it will not be possible to turn up on the Thursday evening if you are a member of the Tuesday club and vice versa.
Junior Club starts on Thursday 26th June
and Tuesday 1st July and continues until the end of September. Members spend from 6.30 - 7.45 on the water and then after a hot shower we have a BBQ (bring your own food).

At Junior Club children aged from 7 - 12 get the chance to use surf skis, double canoes and kayaks (with tuition), and to ride in the safety boat. We find that apart from being great fun it also greatly enhances/develops water confidence.

Club membership is £19.50 and weekly subs are £6.00. We offer a membership buy back system. If for any reason within the first six weeks a member does not wish to continue at Junior Club we will buy back their membership for £10.00 and sell the place on to a new member on our waiting list.

There will be no windsurfing on club nights due to the high numbers involved and the safety aspects associated with this. However throughout the summer we will be running special club members only windsurfing sessions on Saturday mornings from 11.00 - 1.00. These will be specifically for club members who want to learn to windsurf. We will take a maximum of 8 members per session at a nominal cost of only £9.50.

We will again be running a Junior Club member of the year award with the chance to win a new wetsuit. This is awarded at the end of the season to the club member who has attended the most club nights, in the event of a tie it will be awarded to the club member who is judged to have been the best behaved on the water throughout the season.

We take a maximum of 40 Junior Club Members. For the last few years we have been oversubscribed. Therefore in order to avoid disappointment please book your place as early as possible. You can do this at the lake, or by telephone. Your place will be confirmed when your membership fee is received.
