Had my son’s 12th birthday party here today, absolutely fantastic!
All 9 boys had a great time on the water and at the BBQ afterwards. Excellent staff, quality equipment and safe at all times.

Just a quick note to thank you for the windsurfing lessons for me and my family last year. I had previously had lessons near me here in Surrey which were no where nearly as effective as the ones we had with you (they were also considerably more expensive but please dont take that as a mandate to increase your very reasonable prices). I did not believe for a minute that you could really get us to windsurf in an afternoon…… you managed with all five of us so hats off to you. We very much enjoyed the follow up lessons too – being able to steer to where you want to go as well as stand up is pretty important I guess.
The setting of the lake is very pleasant, ideal for learners and we all felt very safe. Also particularly appreciated the break and the cups of tea half way through! I have recommended your school to several other families and I am happy to speak to any of your potential customers if they would like to make contact (07752 344823). Please put this letter on your website. Finally, thanks for your time and patience helping me sort out my boards a couple of weeks ago.

Thank-you for all of your help on our recent STARS outing, a thoroughly good day was had by all!
Our choice of trip is child led and this was the first time we had run a watersports themed trip. We were pleasantly surprised at your group rate concessions, meaning we could spend the whole day at the lake.
Some of the children were a little apprehensive at first, but the relaxed atmosphere and patience of your kind staff meant that everyone gave it a go!
Our staff were impressed by your professionalism and the safety of your activities, meaning that they could sit back and enjoy the day with the children without needing to worry about anything, everything was taken care of by your team and excellent facilities.

When my daughter was invited to one of your birthday parties I was apprehensive as she was never comfortable around water. I was therefore delighted when your friendly helpful staff reassured her and managed to get her to try being out on the water. The attention to safety was clear and gave us both confidence, and that day my nervous girl was the last one to make her way ashore for the rest of the party. She absolutely enjoyed herself and I was amazed that she became a junior club member and quite at home out on the lake! I cannot sing their praises highly enough. I’ve been taking school children to the centre over the past ten years and it is a real ‘one-off’ experience for them. The staff are friendly and fun whilst at the same time maintaining strict safety standards. Children have immense fun out on the lake which is situated within Decoy woods – a lovely ‘wild’ environment. Pupils who attended the ‘Fun Junior Watersports’ after-school club last year have nearly all signed up immediately again for this year! A fabulous centre – right in the heart of Newton Abbot.
